Following a few “hotfixes,” Larian Studios has released the first major patch for Baldur’s Gate 3, and it’s a big one. The update addresses more than 1,000 bugs, balance issues, and more. In terms of bug fixes, NPCs should no longer be able to spot you when they shouldn’t be able to, items that weirdly floated through the air should no longer do that, and Shadowheart’s entire romance scene should play out appropriately now. Some visual bugs are addressed in the patch, too, and the kissing mechanics are improved for shorter people. “We’re bringing back Short King Summer,” Larian said.
